Richard Bergman |
Richard Bergman started his first fencing and deck construction business as a carpenter at 21. He also learned many other trades over the past twenty years. During those years he managed to obtain both a Bachelor of Commerce and Bachelor of Law degree while staying very involved in the construction industry. Today he remains actively involved in all aspects of custom home building and product development/marketing.
He is the founder of Titan Building Products, the inventor of the Titan Post Anchor and many other unique products. As the creator and editor of the popular website, Ideas-For-Deck-Designs.com. Richard is able to freely share his deck and general building experience with millions of visitors every year.

Gary Brackett |
After finishing college, Gary gained experience in the home building industry by working for a contracting firm. Eventually, he opened up his own business of remodeling and new construction. After working in the field for sixteen years he took a job teaching carpentry at the State University of New York at Delhi. At Delhi Mr. Brackett has taught several courses related to carpentry and cabinetmaking. He has also developed new courses and contributed to publications. Gary has a B.S. in Geology from the State University of New York at Oneonta and a M.S in Education from the State University of New York at Oswego. He resides in upstate NY with his wife and two daughters.

Norm Christopherson |
Norm Christopherson has been involved in the HVAC and refrigeration industry since 1970 and has taught at San Jose City College in California for 18 years. He has custom designed and delivered training courses for IBM, The Coca-Cola Company, Ford Motor Company, Advanced Micro Devices, Lockheed Martin, Loral Aerospace, state government agencies and numerous HVAC contractors. He has been a national and local speaker for the Refrigeration Service Engineer’s Society and continues to lecture and present technical seminars nationally. Norm is published regularly in HVAC technical magazines and is the author of several books for the heating and cooling professional. He has successfully owned and operated his own HVAC installation and service business specializing in solving system problems. Norm is a Senior Training Specialist for York UPG International where he develops and presents York training materials. York International manufactures York, Luxaire, Coleman, and Bristol and Fraser Johnston brands.

Adam Ding |
Adam Ding is a professional estimator with extensive experience in a variety of commercial, residential, institutional, industrial, and infrastructure projects. He holds a Master’s degree in Building Construction from Auburn University. Adam has had a successful career in estimating projects of different sizes, ranging from large-scale cost planning to detailed trade take-off. Having bid countless construction jobs, he developed a unique and easy-to-understand estimating approach. Adam taught computer classes in Auburn University, and also owns the copyrights for a number of computer estimating programs. Currently a registered member in the Canadian Institute of Quantity Surveyors (CIQS), he continues to provide cost-estimating services to building professionals in North America, Canada and Asia Pacific regions.

Ray Holder |
Ray Holder has worked in the electrical industry for more than 40 years as an apprentice, journeyman, master, field engineer, estimator, business manager, contractor, inspector, and instructor. Mr. Holder is a graduate of Texas State University and holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Occupational Education. He was awarded a lifetime teaching certificate from the Texas Education Agency in the field of Vocational Education. He is a certified instructor of electrical trades. His classes are presented in a simplified, easy-to-understand format for electricians.
He has taught thousands of students at Austin Community College; Austin Texas Odessa College at Odessa, Texas; Technical-Vocational Institute of Albuquerque, New Mexico; Howard College at San Angelo, Texas, and in the public school systems in Fort Worth and San Antonio, Texas. He is currently Director of Education for Electrical Seminars, Inc. of San Marcos, Texas.
Mr. Holder is an active member of the National Fire Protection Association, International Association of Electrical Inspectors, and the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers.

Chris Prince |
Chris Prince has been involved in construction for the past 15 years with a combination of field experience and training. He has written hours of training courses that have been taught in live classroom settings and has helped more than 10,000 candidates prepare for state licensing exams across the country. Chris has been instrumental in launching an online training program for builders which has included course development for Residential and Commercial contractors with emphasis in building theory, codes, licensing, lien laws, business management, ethics, OSHA, contract law, payroll and project management. Chris is a graduate of Middle Tennessee State University. |

Jason Reid |
Jason Reid is Co-Founder of National Services Group. National Services Group operates as College Works Painting and Empire Community Painting. Together they are one of the largest residential re-paint contractors in the USA. Jason is also on the board of Ambassador Energy, a fast-growing solar solutions company. Jason and his partners have been twice finalists for the Ernst and Young Entrepreneur of the Year awards. |

Dave Rongey |
Dave Rongey is a California State Licensed Electrical Contractor who has been in the electrical industry for over 37 years. Services include 8 years as a journeyman at Silicon Valley's largest industrial manufacturing facility at Sperry Univac/Control Data Corp., 8 years as journeyman at a mid sized Hospital Facility, and journeyman on numerous commercial and custom residential projects where he has provided electrical construction, building automation and energy management services, as well as implementing large scale energy reduction projects with clients and major electrical utility providers. Dave has an extensive background with digital and analog controls and has been certified by Microsoft. Dave's experience with the electrical trade and technical knowledge has been channeled into an internet service that he founded which provides information and assistance from his website www.ask-the-electrician.com to thousands of visitors daily.

Paul Rosenberg |
Paul Rosenberg has an extensive background in the construction, data, electronic, HVAC and plumbing trades. He is a leading voice in the electrical industry with years of experience from an apprentice to a project manager. Paul has written for all of the leading electrical and low voltage industry magazines and has authored more than 50 books.
In addition, he wrote the first standard for the installation of optical cables (ANSI-NEIS-301) and was awarded a patent for a power transmission module. Paul currently serves as contributing editor for Power Outlet Magazine, teaches at Iowa State University and works as a consultant and expert witness in legal cases. He speaks occasionally at industry events.

Daniel Sandefur |
Daniel Sandefur has been in the electrical industry for over 17 years. He has held many positions in the electrical field including quality control inspector for Square D Company, master electrician, electrical contractor, electrical instructor and has worked for the last 12 years as an electrical inspector. Daniel holds master electricians licenses in multiple states and is also certified by the ICC and IAEI as a master electrical inspector, commercial electrical inspector, residential electrical inspector and electrical plans examiner. Daniel has taught thousands of students through continuing education seminars and electrical exam preparation courses. He currently works as an electrical inspector for the Reedy Creek Improvement District located in the Walt Disney World Resort and continues to teach seminars throughout the country.

William Spence |
William P. Spence has authored more than 28 books in the area of Architectural Design and Building Construction as well as 12 books in related Engineering Technology areas. He also has written articles extensively for magazines and journals. Several of his books have been translated into Chinese, Russian, and Spanish. William has been Dean at the College of Technology and a professor of Construction Engineering Technology at the Pittsburg State University in Pittsburg, Kansas. He also worked in the industry as a General Manager and Design Draftsman at manufacturers in Virginia, worked as a cabinetmaker, and became involved in real estate sales and land development in North Carolina. William earned a doctorate as well as a Masters in Education at the University of Missouri. In addition, he earned his Bachelor of Science in Education at Southeast Missouri State University. William has also served in the U.S. Navy. He makes his home in Pinehurst, North Carolina where he is currently writing technical books full time. |
